I totally agree that engagement with a customer/employee can deliver tangible ROI through retention/acquisition.

I&#039;d like to add something here... &#039;Engagement&#039; isn&#039;t just about the medium... We can had &#039;product sampling&#039; for targeted engagement with customers, and &#039;department newsletters&#039; as a means of engaging employees. Although highly effective tools - devoid of a compelling message/idea - they turn into unimaginative, ubiquitous and annoying supermarket gimmicks, or somewhat boring corporate processes.

This is where SocMedia comes in... Simply put, SocMedia is a new and potentially better tool to help customers and employees engage with an interesting idea (which, of course, is your brand message).]]></description>
